Automotive Assembler/Car Builder

HHH Heritage the #1 specialist in America as recognized by Autoweek for the restoration and custom builds of Land Rover Defenders is looking for skilled technicians with experience in electrical, suspensions, steering, brakes, engines and transmissions.

We are looking for a few automotive assemblers that can help us continue to build the best Land Rover Defenders in the country, to join our team. The position responsibilities would include complete disassembly and reassembly including an inspection, evaluation, tagging and organization of parts, electrical work, and documentation of all items. To be considered for this position you need to meet the following requirements.

  • Passion for building custom cars
  • Experience in automotive and industrial mechanics
  • Experience in Installation & fitting of engine transmission and drive-line
  • Experience in installation & fitment of doors, hoods, roofs, roll cages, side steps, grills, and all the elements of a build
  • A working knowledge of automotive systems, including carburetors, fuel injection, braking systems, air conditioning/cooling systems, ignition systems and electrical systems
  • Must be able to identify acceptable quality of finished parts
  • Have a strong commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Must be detailed oriented and display problem solving abilities
  • It’s also imperative to have a positive attitude, sense of humor, and a team approach

Fabricator

HHH Heritage the #1 specialist in America as recognized by Autoweek is looking for experienced, creative, skilled fabricators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating custom fabricated weldments as needed and be able to self-sufficiently create the finished product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe work environment at all times.
  • Quickly and safely evaluate the needed steps necessary to finish the needed task.
  • Identify the materials and tooling needed to complete the needed task.
  • Cut, bend, punch, shape and weld metal to create the needed part. 
  • Properly allocating time spent.
  • Produce a product that is up to Custom Land Rover Defender quality standards.
  • Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles.
  • Identify ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity in the fabrication process.
  • Correctly follow the job instructions.
  • Communicate with co-workers and be a team player

Automotive Parts Manager/Service Writer

Parts Manager/Service Writer Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure incoming inventory is stocked in correct location
  • Ability to source and order parts via the internet
  • Obtain parts from local vendors and restock shop supplies as needed
  • Accurately price parts using the proper pricing source and keep parts list up to date
  • A basic knowledge of pricing and availability of parts
  • Capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies in parts inventory
  • Keep track of all technician daily labor hours per vehicle
  • Supervise shop hand as needed
  • Order bolt restock as needed
  • Receive all delivered parts and disperse as necessary
  • Call vendors as needed to check status and ETA for parts
  • Assist in production and assembly as needed
  • Sell manufactured parts to clients
  • Track shipping, returns, and core returns
  • Build estimates and invoices for vehicles
  • Greet customers/visitors that come into the shop

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous parts experience and knowledge
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Must be Independent and confident with an eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic
  • Must be detailed oriented, neat, and organized
  • Must have basic math and computer skills (Internet searches, website browsing, google docs)
  • Must have an understanding of general mechanical and technical terms
