I have had my 1995 Defender 90 for 15 years. About 10 years ago I put it into a well-respected East Coast rebuilder of Defenders for what ended up to be a decent partial rebuild. 5 years ago I put it into HHH for a much more complete job. Going in, I did not realize just how good the job would be from Michael and his staff. In the final analysis, his workmanship, respect for the integrity of the vehicle and attention to detail went far beyond what I thought was doable for Defenders. Prior to my Defender I have had high-end Toyota Land Cruisers from a very high quality rebuilder in California so I have a decent level of edification on these kinds of vehicles. If you are looking to take a Defender to a completely new level, I would trust HHH with the job. A custom job is neither quick or inexpensive so you have to be patient and come with the right level of understanding on the process, but if you want the best rebuild of a LR Defender, I would wholeheartedly recommend HHH Heritage.
